Machinery
My ND Yag & IPL machine is a beautifully designed peace of equipment that has given me and my clients outstanding results.
My 2 in one machine is a Laser ND Yag system combined with an IPL machine. There are 2 handles so each one has its own duty of treatments. Removing tattoos and unwanted hair as-well as skin concerns all in one place.
Why am I so confident in my AW3 Machine?
In the past I have work with 4 other Laser and IPL companies and can honestly say I didn’t have the confidence I do now. The machines technology does matter, It’s what determines the level of results you get. AW3 are the ‘most registered laser company worldwide’ and that’s because of their clean cut technology and results driven machines.
I’ve not only treated customers and friends/family but I’ve also treated myself. I’ve had IPL Hair Removal, Laser Tattoo Removal and still treat myself with IPL Skin Rejuvenation and I can honestly say the results our fantastic. (They don’t call themselves the king of Lasers for nothing).

Safe practice
Good to know facts
A lot of Clinic’s, Salon’s or Tattoo Studios do not brother following or keeping up with this rules and regulations set for a professional standard and this is normally due to the cost and the extra time these things can take. I have actually worked for companies in the past that unfortunately do this, mainly to save money.
I am proud to say that I only offer safe practice with well looked after machinery and equipment with ongoing new courses and training to ensure up to date knowledge about the treatments and machinery I use daily.
Handsets
The handles on a laser or IPL machine have to be changed regularly when used regularly or the outcome of the energy will decrease which effects the standard of your treatment outcome.
Filters
The filter tips on both laser and IPL handles needs to be cleaned daily to ensure perfect vision for the machine to pass through energy.
Goggles
Q switch lasers are the most safest laser beam in the industry and all machines need to be medical grade and certified including the goggles you put on.
Training
At the moment people do not need a qualification in Laser or Light to operate a medical grade machine. However the government are trying to regulate this for the safety of the public.
Set standards
be on the look out for
Certificates hang up with YOUR practitioner name on. If you can’t see there personal level 4 Laser & Light or Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal then ask to see them and if they respond with ‘there not in the shop at the moment, they are being laminated or framed etc.. they are probably not qualified and you should leave the shop.
Take a look at the machine and It’s quality, If it looks slightly cheap or small then It’s most likely isn’t certified with the newest guild-lines. Ask your practitioner what machine it is and if they are unable to tell you on the spot or they do not mention its a Q-Switch (for Laser) then do not allow them to continue treatment as the machine dose not sound certified or medical grade.
Check to see the eye protection wear they supply are also certified with the written on the leans not the frame. If you can not see the written on the leans then the glasses are not certified and are probably not protecting your eyes.
Ask as many open questions as you can about the treatment, what happens, aftercare and more and watch their feedback, If they are not answering your questions with full detail or treatment knowledge and are moving you on to different subjects then please rethink your trust with in them carrying out your advance treatments.
Check their Social media platforms for regular content being posted as well as their own personal before and after pictures. Have a look at their reviews and make sure they have been a open business for at least a year.
Do you know anyone who has been there before? ask around and hear there feedback.
Check their price, if they are offering discounts or deals on advanced treatment’s then there is a reason why. If their price is generally cheap then I wouldn’t trust the quality or your treatment out come. Laser & IPL Machines cost a lot to run and memantine, if the company is charging cheap then they are clearly are not replacing costly headsets or regular maintenance for the machines care and as a result this will effect your treatment outcome.
